|
Manage factory for specialty wire &cable to electronics, medical device and other industrial sectors. Related manufacturing / operation management for 5+ years .
Responsibilities:
1) Make product 100% to specification
2) Deliver 100% on time
3) Control cost by reducing scrap, improving productivity, reducing setup time, etc.
4) Create a clean and safe environment
5) Work towards continual improvement
6) Manage the overall operation of our Shanghai facility (cost, quality, and delivery)
7) Supervise the operation and maintenance of Shanghai facility, which manufactures specialty wires and cables
8) Supervise six production employees
9) Manage materials
10) Work with other company’s personnel, including Director of International Operations, China Sales Mgr, Engineering Mgr. & Engineers and Corporate Management (management)
11) Build maintenance management
12) Work with suppliers and customers
13) Set clear expectations for people and intermittently check on progress to reaffirm or redirect behavior
Requirements:
1) Operational, engineering/technical, and sales support experience in related industries
2) Good English communication skills in reading, writing and speaking; excellent technical English skills
3) College degree: master degree preferred
4) Basic PC aptitude including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
5) Mechanical, electrical skills
6) Supervisory skills
7) Capabilities of analyzing problems in production, materials and personnel
8) Capabilities of effectively communicate with supervisor, employees, suppliers and customers
8) Possess the mindset to treat the operation as if it was his own
9) Trustworthy…not being afraid to admit mistakes … having an open attitude
10) Strong personal and work ethic
11) Strong analytical and problem solving skills
12) Strong sense of belonging to the organization. 13) Have a strong maintenance mindset - one who takes good care of equipment and is prepared for most issues
14) Work without time boundaries
15) Business savvy and understand the relationship between materials and labor costs and creating gross profit
16) Possess a thought process that involves measurements and continuous improvement.
17) Possess a concern for waste (labor, scrap, etc.)
18) Understand the importance of the customer"s needs balanced with the corporate need to be profitable

The selected candidate will travel to U.S. for 6-month training at the beginning of the job
The selected candidates cannot have previous rejection of U.S. visa application
Successful travel experience to U.S. preferred
